Watch: Eden Hazard Amazing Goal Against Czech Republic

Romelu Lukaku is set to make his 100th appearance for Belgium tonight but has another special target to hit tonight. They come up against the Czech Republic at home at King Baudouin Stadium, kick-off at 19:45.

Before we get to the other milestone, I just want to have a quick look back on his 99 caps to get to this point. He got named in the Belgium senior squad in March 2010, given his senior debut against Croatia. His first senior Belgium goal didn’t come till his eighth appearance for them when he got a brace in a 2-0 win over Russia in November 2010.

In June 2018, Lukaku officially became Belgium’s all-time leading scorer with 31 goals, after scoring in a 3–0 win over Egypt, going ahead of previous record goalscorers, Bernard Voorhoof and Paul Van Himst.

On October 10, 2019, Lukaku scored his 50th and 51st international goals in a 9–0 home win over San Marino.

In Belgium’s first international match of this September break, Belgium went 1-0 down against Estonia in the first minute but that wasn’t a reason to worry for this squad and they scored five unanswered goals to triumph 5-1. Lukaku got himself a brace before being substituted and most likely rested for this match tonight.
