Watch: Marcus Rashford Scores Amazing Goal Against Wolves

What a chance for Garnacho after some awful defending by Semedo. The ball is played through by Eriksen to Garnacho who doesn’t look like he’s going to get on the end of it as Semedo gets there ahead of him.

However Semedo plays his keeper Jose Sa ridiculously short which allows Garnacho through and forces an important stop by the Portuguese keeper. Ruben Neves wins the ball high up the pitch and tries to work space for a shot on his right, but he is upended and wants a foul but nothing is given.

Wolves pile bodies into the box as the corner is played in but the ball is headed away by Varane. At the other end we see the first moment of quality from Garnacho as he tries runs at the Wolves defence but the hosts get too many bodies around the youngster who loses the ball.

Pressure successfully applied by Martial and the ball eventually goes to Antony who tries to slip in the Frenchman who goes under Neves as the Wolves man goes for a header. Martial calls for a penalty but the referee is not having it though United do have a corner.

The corner comes in and Casemiro’s header is deflected over! Garnacho tries a first time volley from the following corner but his effort goes well over the bar. Wolves win a free-kick and Ruben Neves decides to play a cute pass to Joao Moutinho whose cross into the box is floated over his team-mates and out of play.

Moments later the ball is played through to Diego Costa but the former Chelsea man is offside. Marcus Rashford has been in good form recently so it will be interesting to see how United fare off without the England international from the start. He is on the bench for Ten Hag to bring on in the second half if they are in need of a goal and it would be a big call not to take him off the bench if they are hunting for a goal.
