Watch: Marcus Rashford Scores Amazing Solo Goal Against Nottingham

Mancheser United are really threatening to cut Forest open and get a second. It’s a really good move from left to right from the hosts, with Rashford, Weghorst and Eriksen all involved, before it comes to Antony but he cuts in and fires well wide inside the box.

That one looked like a right-foot hit, and it’s another chance wasted. Gibbs-White goes short to Scarpa, who’s ball in is poor. But United can counter here, and it’s Rashford darting forward on the left – but Forest are back in time to force him back.

It eventually comes to Eriksen on the right but his clipped ball in is well cut out by Worrall. Antony has a strike not long after the visitors take the lead, with the Red Devils not holding any ambitions of letting their foot off the gas, but it’s a little off target and Forest escape.

Manchester United aren’t waiting around as Rashford looks to work some magic early on, but he’s dispossessed inside the box and Forest clear their lines.

Marcus Rashford. Who else? It’s a fantastic solo effort, after the England man picks it up on that left flank on the halfway line. There’s only one thought in his mind, as he sprints towards the penalty area and takes on Worrall and Aurier, breezing past the pair of them.

He breaks into the box and simply fires past Hennessey for an emphatic opening goal for the man who is in stunning form!
